A Look Into Cannabis Oil Treatment Against Cancer
For years, scientists have been trying to come up with a cure for cancer and are still doing so, unfortunately. But what's the general reaction for using cannabis oil for cancer treatment? Probably not much different when it was found to treat glaucoma.
As the name suggests, cannabis oil contains cannabinoids, substances derived from the cannabis plant. Cannabis can be consumed in a number of different ways. It can be smoked, vaporized and inhaled, mixed as an ingredient in food, or even drank in the form of a tea. It has both good and bad effects, which is why its use raises some ethical issues.
But among all the various forms of cannabis, cannabis oil is the most potent. It's unimaginable that somebody would just use this for recreation not just because it's illegal, but because it's expensive.
There are a number of cancer-related stories which involve cannabis oil and its promising effects. These accounts are truly remarkable but have yet to be verified. The medical field still does not recognize cannabis oil as a viable treatment for cancer due to lack of medical evidence and data.
Another obstacle to this concept's progress is because of legal issues. There's a reason why cannabis is illegal in most places. The substance is addictive and has some harmful side effects which poses a threat to society.
From my perspective, however, it's really just a matter of choice. Any substance, if abused and wrongfully used, can produce negative outcomes. The use of cannabis oil and cannabis in general could lead to some promising results as long as it's done properly.
Cannabis Oil as Treatment
Cancer is such a big issue that the use of cannabis oil for treatment and the accounts associated with it tend to be highly publicized, which is no surprise. But cancer isn't the only thing cannabis oil can be used for. Perhaps you'd be surprised at what else it's claimed to be capable of.
- Cannabis oil can also be used for other conditions.
Other than glaucoma and cancer, it's also used for diabetes, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, inflammatory bowel disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and pain relief to name a few. Not bad for something that's normally associated with its bad reputation.
- Cannabis oil contains antioxidants.
Thanks to its antioxidant properties, it can also be used for prevention as well as treatment of ischemic and autoimmune diseases.
- It can also be used for beauty treatments.
Apparently, cannabis oil can make you look good as well. Mixed with other creams, it can be applied topically.
- It can also be used as a suppository.
That's right. Have some constipation problems? Cannabis oil can help with that. It's going to be a really expensive suppository but just keep in mind that it's more versatile.
There are a great many things that nature can provide which could be the solution to some of our problems. We just simply have to redefine our perception of the cannabis plant first to get past one of the obstacles to understanding its potential.
One of the keys here is to understand limitations and borders. Looking at cannabis oil, or any substance for that matter, should be worthwhile in trying to come up with treatment for something as deadly as cancer. As long as we don't go too far then I think we're good, and one step closer to conquering one of the greatest killers we've ever known.
